The monument to A. Baitursynov and M. Dulatov is located at an altitude of 116 meters above sea level, located in the central part of the settlement of Torgai, opposite the literary museum of A. Baitursynov and M. Dulatov in the Dzhangeldy district of the Kostanay region.
In 2022, the 150th anniversary of Akhmet Baitursynov was celebrated. In the village of Torgai, the administrative center of the Dzhangeldy district, solemn events were held in honor of the great Kazakh public figure and educator.
For the anniversary, a renovated museum and a restored monument to the leaders of the Alash movement were presented. The author of the monument - Zhenis Zhubankosov worked on the monument for 3 months.
The total height of the sculpture is five meters. Akhmet Baitursynov and Myrzhakyp Dulatov are depicted in the dialogue, holding a map of Kazakhstan in their hands. The monument organically fits into the cultural and memorial complex in the settlement of Torgai.
