In a northeast part of historical center Shakhrisabz among apartment houses there is ancient mosque Malik-Arjar.
According to a legend she has arisen near to a tomb of Arabian commander Malika-Adjara.
As well as khanaka Khodja Mirkhamid, the complex of mosque Malik-Adjar in the past carried out function madrasah.
To it testify hudjr, located on perimeter and blocked by domes. Mosque Malik-Adjar has a classical composition of Islamic cult construction.
