Brief description of a route of tour on foothills Talass of Ala Tau:

Settlement Zhabagly - gorge Kshi-Kaindy - gorge Taldybulak - settlements Kumisbastau - Eltay - pass Irsu - settlement Irsu (Raevka) - cordon Aksu - canyon Aksu - settlement Zhabagly.

Distance of route: 66 km.
Season: from April 1th till September, 30th.
 Best time for excursion: April - August.
Advanced reservation: for 48 hours.
Durtaion of tour: 3 days, 2 nights.

Detailed program of automobile tour and walk on horses in reserve Aksu-Zhabagly:

Day 1. Settlement Zhabagly - gorge Kshi-Kaindy (12 km).

Early arrival on station Tyulkubas.
A meeting at railway station, transfer to settlement Zhabagly (12 km).
Arrival in village Zhabagly, acommodation in the guest house. Breakfast.
Transfer to the beginning of walk in vicinities hotel «Asel» (5 km).
Hiking: hotel "Asel" - field base a small house botanists 1800 m. a. s. l. Kshi-Kaindy (7 km).
Walk on fauna and flora in vicinities of valley Kshi-Kaindy, walk to a falls on the river Kshi-Kaindy. The lunch-picnic. Returning to hotel "Asel".
Transfer to settlement Zhabagly, dinner, overnight.

Day 2.  Settlement Zhabagly - gorge Taldybulak (8 km).

Breakfast. Transfer: settlement Zhabagly - the beginning of gorge Tadybulak (3 km).
Walk in vicinities of gorge Taldybulak (8 km),
here we observe flora and fauna of reserve Aksu-Zhabagly.  Walk can be on horses or on foot on foothills and the bottom belt of mountains. The part of a track passes on a mountain steppe zone and further proceeds on a bottom of gorge Taldybulak.
On a track it is possible to meet Tien-Shan a bear, the Siberian mountain goat, (Capreolus capreolus) roe deer. And also birds: bilious porridge, (Emberiza calandra caesia) common (corn) bunting, a nightingale, (Cinclus) white dipper, black-headed (Remiz), paradise flycatcher, etc. A lunch on nature.
Returning in settlement Zhabagly, dinner, overnight.

Day 3. Settlement Zhabagly - canyon Aksu (46 km). 

Breakfast. Transfer: settlement Zhabagly - settlement Eltai - settlement Iirsu - canyon Aksu (1620 m. a. s. l. around hunter cordon) (25 km).
Descent in canyon to the river Aksu borrows 30 - 40 minutes.
Walk in vicinities of canyon, here we observe flora of canyon Aksu. Lunch in canyon.
Rise from canyon borrows from 0,40 1 hours. 
Canyon of the river Aksu beautiful and picturesque corner of the nature of reserve. Walking tour on a track northern a slope of a canyon (the right coast, a southern exposition) from cordon Aksu up to the bridge on the river Aksu. Walk passes through thrickets of the Skeleton Caucasian and juniper a light forest.
On a steep rock of a slope of a southern exposition it is possible to observe a colony of rocky swallows. The area is most interesting to supervision over birds of prey: a golden eagle, (Circaetus) serpent eagle, Circaetus, an eagle-dwarf, (Buteo rufinus) long-legged buzzard, (Neophron) neophron, griffon, the bearded man, kestrel, (Falco cherrug) saker falcon, etc. It is possible to meet mountain goats and a bear.
Returning in settlement Zhabagly. End of the tour.
