The village of Zhinishkekum is in Ulytausky district of the Karaganda region. Geographical location in Turanskaya the lowland and to Priaralsky Kara-Kum. As is well-known east part of Priaralsky is divided Kara-Kum into local deserts of which consist Priaralskiye Kara-Kum.
Among one of them on the western edge of sands Eshki-Kyrylgankum is also located Zhinishkekum. The country road among sands which during strong winds fills up with sand whirlwinds approaches the settlement from Zhezkazgan.
From Aralsk to Zhinishkekum 160 kilometers, are the usual country road among sands. In the aul there is a school, a well with fresh, slightly saltish water, there is a settlement head, there is a medical aid station, shops.
Major activity of residents of the settlement, this agriculture which have to one occupation is camels, sheep, cows and it is a little horses.
