Sights of Kazakhstan.

Location: located on the outskirts of Aksu, Stepnogorsk, Akmola region. Brief information: Nurmaganbet Sagynay uly (1848-1925) is a Kazakh philanthropist. Known by the people under the name “Pan Nurmakanbet”. He was engaged in breeding breeding horses.
When the future Tsar of Russia, Nicholas II, arrived in Omsk in 1891, Ban Nurmaganbet established a large white yurt in his honor, presented him with 1,000 horses. At the beginning of the XXth century, this yurt was exhibited at the All-Russian Exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod and at the Exhibition in Paris.
Currently stored in St. Petersburg, in the Hermitage. In 1898, he was the first in the steppe to be awarded a gold medal and a gold watch for the development of horse breeding. He made a pilgrimage to the holy Mecca 4 times.
In 1908, when he was in Mecca, he bought houses in the city of Sham (Damascus) for pilgrims where they could stay. He built a mosque in the village. A rich memorial dinner in honor of his father Sagynaya in 1886 is preserved in history as uniting 3 Kazakh zhuz.
500 white yurts were installed, 500 Bukhara carpets were spread, 5 tons of tea were used, 20 thousand sheep and 100 horses were sacrificed. Nurmagambet provided financial assistance to the leaders of the Alash party, A. Bokeikhanov, A. Baitursynov, M. Dulatov, in order to achieve the noble goal of uniting the Kazakh people.
This is stated in the novel by Saken Seifullin “Тар жол – тайғақ кешу”.
