Trip to museum of Kazakh Cinema named after Sh. Aimanov in Almaty

Museum of Kazakh Cinema named after Sh. Aimanov is located at an altitude of 974 meters above sea level, located at 176 Al-Farabi Avenue, on 1st floor, on territory of Kazakhfilm film studio, in Bostandyk district of Almaty. 
The museum opened in September 2019. The museum contains priceless archival exhibits, including the camera of the legendary director Sergei Eisenstein. Personal belongings, souvenirs presented to the People's Artist of the USSR Aimanov in memory of creative meetings, prizes received by him for outstanding achievements in the field of cinematography, books, scripts of films in which he starred and directed, commemorative medals, as well as personal belongings - a desk, an armchair, a bookcase, archival and theater photographs, frames from films in which Amanov starred.
Here Shaken Aimanov worked for 17 years as an artistic director and director. The museum has about 300 exhibits. The special pride of the museum is the restored study of Shaken Kenzhetayevich Aimanov.
