The Kapal-Arasan 985 meters above sea level resort has been organised on the basis of the mineral springs of the same name and is located in the northern Zhungar Alatau Spurs in the Biyen River valley.
The resort is located in the greenery of a large park, which includes poplars and elms. The surrounding steppe contains rare bushes. A nice view is revealed at the snow line and peaks of the Zhungar Alatau near the resort.
The Kapal-Arasan mineral springs are classified as weak-radioactive, weak sulphate-chloride-sodium thermals. Balneal resort “Arasan-Kapal” is established near the mineral springs of the same name and is located in the northern edges of Zhungar Alatau in the valley of Biyen River.
The resort is “diving” in the greenery of the big park, which consists of poplars and elms. Around the park there is the steppe with rare bushes. From the territory of the resort you can perfectly see the beautiful snow ridges and tops of Zhungar Alatau.
Arasan-Kapal mineral springs belong to light radioactive, light sulphate-chloride and sodium terms. They go out of the cracks in the granite covered with land waste. The temperature of major springs constitutes 35 - 37 degrees.
With regard to water content, temperature and radioactivity the water is similar to Tshaltubo Springs. The springs have good influence on people who suffer from rheumatism, metabolic disease, diseases of peripheral system and blood vessels, as well as on the diseases of women and on the people who were poisoned with copper, lead and other metals.
Every year Arasan-Kapal Resort accepts around 2000 patients. They leave the granite cracks, covered with grass. The temperature of most of the springs is 35°C to 37°C. They are similar to the Tskhaltubo springs in water, temperature and radioactive characteristics.
The springs provide good relief for rheumatics; those with peripheral system and cardio-vascular problems, women's ailments and also for those suffering from copper, lead and other metal poisonings.
Annually, about 2000 patients are treated in Kapal-Arasan ants have used these springs for treatment since time immemorial. It is also the first health resort in Kazakhstan and opened in 1886.
The average temperature of January is –10 C, of July +20 C. The atmospheric precipitation to 350mm per year. About 2830 hours of sunshining per year. The main medicinal factors are: chlorid-sulphate, sodium water (29 - 44C) which contains nitrogen and silicon acid used for bath and shower.
The health resort “Kapal-Arasan” was founded on a base of the same named mineral springs. This resort is located in the heart of park where many poplars and karagaches grow. There is a magnificent viewing of the snowy crests and peaks of Jungar Alatau from the territory of resort.
Kapal-Arasan mineral springs belong to weakly radioactive and weakly sulphate-chlorid-natrium thermos. The temperature of the majority of springs 35-37C. By the water characteristic temperature and radioactivity these springs are similar to Tzkhaltubo springs.
These springs have medicinal characteristics for people who suffer from: rheumatism, metabolism, peripheral systems and blood vessels, gynecology diseases and who suffer from copper and lead poisonings.
