Bust of Anvarbek Chortekov in city of Naryn.
Busts and monuments in Naryn region.
"The war was not only a global historical milestone that divided the 20th century into two parts - the pre-war and post-war periods of humanity, but also became the fate, the destiny of every person who lived at that time, the measure of his actions and moral values. The war appeared before the face of literally every person. I do not know anyone who would have bypassed the war in one way or another. ... I remember the rallies of the first days of the war. General responsibility for the fate of the country became personal. Columns of volunteers left the district center right from the rallies. This is the essence. As I now understand, every person, great and small, at the front and in the rear, found their historical place in this grandiose, nationwide struggle."
