Walk in Pushkin Park in city of Karakol.

“Our region has within its borders more than one luxurious garden, before which the creations of Russian gardeners pale, but all of them must recognize the palm of primacy belonging to the Karakol Park, where giant firs, with their picote-shaped tops, peacefully grow side by side with the fragrant Almaty apple, juicy apricot and dark purple cherry. A beautiful flower bed is also planted here.”

The park was founded several decades ago and quickly became a popular place for recreation. Wide alleys, well-kept flower beds, rides and concert venues attracted people of all ages. In the evenings, the park was filled with lights, and on weekends it was impossible to find a free bench. There was a dance floor, a summer cinema, a cafe, children's rides, a pneumatic shooting range, and a billiard room. The "House of Pioneers" located on the territory of the park held various theme nights on the stage of the summer theater.
