The flowing, dammed lake Small Allo, located at an altitude of 2340 meters above sea level, is located on the northern slope of its Gissar ridge and in the eastern part of the Zeravshan ridge, between the Peshak mountains on the southwestern slope of the Saryob mountains, in the Fanу Mountains, in the gorge of the Zindan river ( Zindon) in the Penjikent region of the Sughd region.
The length of the lake from the south-west to the north-east is 185 meters, the greatest width is 66 meters in the eastern part. The perimeter of the lake is 453 meters, the area is 9251 square meters. From the southeast side, the Zindan (Zindon) river flows into the lake, which flows out after being filtered through a five-kilometer block of rocks from Lake Bolshoye Allo.
The water in Lake Maloe Allo is crystal clear and has an unusual green tint.
