Waterfall in valley of Kuylyu River.
Natural attractions in Kyrgyzstan.
“The high mountainous banks gradually converged, the valley narrowed and appeared like a gorge ahead; The rocky mountain near which we were driving was made by nature from huge stones that pressed each other on each other with such terrible force.”

Waterfalls in mountains of Kyrgyzstan.
Sharkyratma waterfall is located at an altitude of 2981 meters above sea level, located on river of same name 440 meters before mouth or 9.8 kilometers from sources of Sharkyratma river, on southern slope of Terskey Ala-Too ridge in Ak-Suu district in southeast of Issyk- Kul region.
The name of the Sharkyratma river is translated from Kyrgyz as waterfall, that is, surveyors and topographers gave the name to the river based on the name of the waterfall in the Kyrgyz language. Not reaching 440 meters before the confluence with the Kuilya River on the left side, the river in its bed is blocked by a narrow canyon with a vertical wall.
The waterfall is represented by two cascades, the first small one about 4 meters flows over a huge stone split in half. The second cascade, more than 10 meters high, falls off a rocky ledge. The foot of the waterfall cannot be seen, as it is littered with huge boulders.
Below the waterfall, 214 meters, on the left bank of the Sharkyratma River, not far from the mouth, next to the highway, there is a hunting base at an altitude of 2898 meters above sea level. There are six different buildings here.
