Tours in mausoleums of Aktobe region.

“Yes, your life passed in ignorance, servant Khoja Ahmed,
On my knees and with sadness, without light in my eyes,
All the time with longing, with remorse.
There is no salvation, I set off my caravan on the way"

Hikmets of Khoja Ahmed Yassawi.

Visit to mausoleum of Koblandy batyr.

Koblandy batyr is a symbol of heroism and pride of the Kazakh people. The now-known names of Zhalgyz-oba, Kosoba, Besoba near the village of Zhirenkop in the Khobdinsky district are places where the glorious Koblandy once fought with the Kalmyk invaders.
Zhirenkol, Eshkirgan, Tasbulak tau, Tumshanbulak, located in these places, today bear their historical names. The burial place of Koblandy batyr is located on the left bank of the Kobda River. In 1995, a stone with an inscription was installed at the burial site, and a year later the remains of the batyr were reburied, the territory is fenced.
The mausoleum, which was erected by Koblandy batyr in 2007, has no analogues among similar structures of the 21st century, unique in its architectural appearance. The height of the mausoleum is 17.5 meters, the width is 12.
The shape of the mausoleum resembles a batyr helmet with a shield and a sword. Near the mausoleum of Kobland there is a stone about which the batyr sharpened his saber three meters long, 60 centimeters wide. The saber has survived to the present day; it is located at the burial site.
Once upon a time at the burial place of Koblandy there was a mazar. About him in 1906, wrote the researcher of our region V.V. Carlson, and later Joseph-Antoine Castañe. Mazar at one time collapsed and at the beginning of the twentieth century in its place there were only ruins.
In the 50s of the twentieth century, the famous archaeologist Alkey Margulan visited the burial place. In the late sixties, the anthropologist Noel Shayakhmetov excavated and planned to restore the appearance of the batyr by the method of Gerasimov. In the mouths of the people, 29 versions of the poem "Koblandy Batyr" have been preserved.
As you know, the epic "Koblandy Batyr" has 29 versions. He tells about the events that took place in the fifteenth century. His hero is a real historical figure, a major commander who fought against the Dzungars and Kalmyks.
The work about the burial place of the batyr only says: “on the shore of the Big Khobda...”, but researchers with the help of the local population managed to figure it out. The once majestic mausoleum, erected from burnt bricks, was completely destroyed.
The first scientific research began in 1969, when Noel Shayakhmetov arrived in the Khobda district. After opening the grave of Koblandy, the recovered remains were taken to Alma-Ata. However, for a long time they were not investigated and anthropological reconstruction was not carried out.
The collected material was stored in an ordinary cardboard box in the scientist’s apartment. And only in 2005, at the request of the oblast akim Eleusin Sagindikov, the remains were studied by the famous anthropologist Ainagul Ismagulova.
Then the students of Mikhail Gerasimov, who developed a system of patterns of correspondence of the soft parts of the face to his bone base, Lizaveta Veselovskaya and Tatyana Balueva, employees of the Moscow laboratory of anthropological reconstruction, recreated the sculptural portrait of the national hero.
According to the bones, it was determined that he died at the age of 40 - 45 years. In August 2006, the remains of the Koblandy batyr were finally delivered to Zhirenkopu and, with a large crowd of people, were reburied in accordance with Muslim traditions along with the remains of a 16-year-old girl and a 45-year-old man who were found next to the grave of the batyr.
A small indentation was made near the grave under the glass, where a fragment of the former red burnt brick mausoleum was placed. The memory of the great commander was honored and the soldiers with three automatic bursts.
