“Separation is not a problem, as long as there is
We have the hope of meeting you.
And henceforth bridges over the abyss in our honor
May good hope be erected.
With all my heart I am tearing to you from afar
Elements played out list.
Abyss on the blade edge
Ready to go, make me only a meeting”

Chernobyl Memorial Complex is located at an altitude of 35 m. a. s. l. in Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant Liquidators' Memorial Park, between Yuri Gagarin and Chingirlauskaya Streets, on grounds of Uralsk City Administration Building.
Chernobyl Memorial Complex was unveiled in Uralsk on May 30, 2015. The monument was designed by artist and designer Dmitry Volkogonov. The memorial is dedicated to the liquidators of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident. The complex was opened with the support of the city and regional authorities.
On either side of the monument are three prismatic steles bearing the names of those involved in the liquidation of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident - a total of six. Two steps lead to the monument, and at its apex are two cranes, emphasizing the exclusive use of even numbers in the composition.
According to popular belief, even numbers are symbolically associated with the world of the departed. The monument itself stands on four columns - a reference to Unit 4, where the explosion occurred. Two cranes represent the Chernobyl victims who died from radiation exposure.
The upper part of the monument depicts the trajectory of an atom, intentionally interrupted, symbolizing nuclear energy that has escaped human control. The composition also includes a small vaulted arch - with it, the creators emphasize the region's geographic location, reminding us that we are located in Asia.
More than 100,000 people participated in the cleanup efforts after the Chernobyl disaster, 22,000 of whom were citizens of Kazakhstan. The monument's construction and construction cost 150 million tenge.
Geographic coordinates of Chernobyl memorial complex are: N51°14'06 E51°26'50
