Bogenbai batyr Local History Museum: Located in the center of Yereimentau city, Yereimentau district, Akmola region. In 1999, dedicated to the arrival of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev, the museum was named after the famous batyr.
In accordance with the state program «Мәдени мұра» the main goals and objectives of the museum are the study of the history of the Yereimentau land, the collection of materials of the spiritual and cultural heritage, the study, popularization, the revelation of the significance of the achievements of Bogenbai batyr, the rising of spirit of patriotism among youth.
Among the exhibits of the museum there are archeological excavations, the ethnographic hall demonstrates original lifestyle, everyday life, material and spiritual culture, dishes of the Kazakh people of the XIXth-XXth centuries, a copper basin of the great-grandson of Sakkulak bi and a Persian carpet presented by the Omsk governor are preserved. Besides, horse harness, furs, as well as valuable historical products that are 300 years old.
The Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev visited the museum in 1999. The visitors of the museums could got acquainted with a carpet and a seal presented to the museum by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The museum staff holds various meetings, patriotic lessons, conferences, and excursions for public and religious figures, war veterans, akyns, scholars, and people.
