The Darapioz Glacier, with a length of 11.4 kilometers and an area of 21.5 kilometers square, is located in the Sughd region of Tajikistan. Is a complex valley glacier in the Yarkhich River basin, at the junction of the Alai and Zeravshan ranges.
Its broad tongue flows to the south, and the basins of food of the main stream and large tributary occupy deep canyons of northern exposure. The lower 7 kilometers of the glacier are covered by moraine.
