Mausoleum of Barak Zhanuzakuly (Karabaluanuly) is located at an altitude of 98 meters above sea level, located 11 kilometers north of the village of Krylovka, 31.6 kilometers northwest of the village of Sarykol, 16.2 kilometers northeast of a small village Shokay, in the Sarykolsky district of the Kostanay region.
The mausoleum of Barak Januzakula is a sacred object of national importance. Even in his youth, he was honored to wear the title of "aulie" for his abilities as a healer and soothsayer. Barak Batyr participated in the battles for the liberation of the Kazakh lands from the Dzungarian and Kalmyk invaders. With his faithful service, the batyr won the trust of Abylai Khan.
The old mazar was renovated in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of batyr Barak and opened on July 13, 1996. In the mausoleum there is a stone slab with an inscription in Arabic, which has been preserved since the burial of Barak Batyr.
The complex of the monument also includes a well and a house for pilgrims. The architectural solution of the mazar is portal-dome. Made of silicate brick; the plinth, pylons and arches are made of ceramic bricks. The dome is helmet-shaped and made of sheets.
