Monument to Tagai biy in Karakol.

Historical and cultural monuments of Karakol.
"An iron net was erected around the Kirghiz,
The Kirghiz fall
Into dungeons, forty arshins deep.
In the darkness were the brave men,
Their knees were covered with calluses,
Our freedom-loving Kirghiz
Began to grovel before the Kokandians.
Mocking, the Kokandians,
Like murderers, pounced
On the white-capped Kirghiz;
Especially cruelly raping,
They took living people instead of zyaket.
Especially five-haired girls
And, inhumanly ruining, the Kokandans began to kill the Kirghiz
Even at their own thresholds."
