Shegir bi Mausoleum.
Educational excursions to archaeological monuments of Ulytau.
"We are pilgrims, sir, we will follow you,
always in the distance, and there, perhaps,
behind that blue mountain, which is dressed in snow,
behind the stormy sea or behind the shimmering one,
gray-haired, on a throne, or in a cave with a guard,
sits a prophet who has the talent
to understand why people appeared: and, of course, we are brave,
those who make the Golden Journey to Samarkand."
James Elroy Flecker (1884 – 1915). Poem "Hasan... The Golden Journey to Samarkand". 1913.
