Ural Cave, a karst cave located in the Surkhandarya region, in Uzbekistan, 8 kilometers north of the town of Baysun. The entrance to the cave is located on the southern slope of Mount Ketmen-Chapta, up to 3116 meters above sea level in the Baysuntau massif.
The length of the Ural Cave is 2.5 kilometers, the depth is 565 meters, and the volume is 11,000 cubic meters. In the cave there are streaky crust in the gallery, at a depth of 560 meters, stalactites and stalagmites.
Up to 150 meters, the shaft of the mine is constantly covered with snow, the air temperature is 4 ° C in summer and about 0 ° C in winter. At a depth of 150 to 565 meters, the temperature rises to 8 ° C. The flow rate of the stream in low water is from 0.5 liters per second at a depth of 220 meters, up to 6 liters per second at the ist siphon.
The second siphon closes the Ural cave in 20 meters. A water outlet was found in a spring near the Machai River, at an altitude of 1400 meters above sea level. In speleotourism, the Ural Cave is classified in 4 categories of difficulty.
