Bust of Nikolai Mikhailovich Przhevalsky is located at an altitude of 1717 meters above sea level, is located in southwest side, 24 meters from airport building in city of Karakol in Issyk-Kul region. 
I first saw this monument in 1994, and photographed it for the first time in July 2015. Unfortunately, there is no information about this monument. I hope that someday I will be able to supplement the information material about this monument.
At the same time, I would like to draw attention to one detail.
One of the photographs in the old album in the local history museum of the city of Karakol shows the former house of the merchant V.G. Rafikov located on the corner of Toktogul (Dzerzhinsky) and Zhamansariyev (Zinovyevskaya - Bazarnaya) streets.
This is a traditional city house, late XIXth - early XXth century with double corner semi-columns, built in 1906. V.G. Rafikov was engaged in business in fur goods, resale of wool, hair, bristles, delivery and sale of tea, sugar. From 1921 to 1925, at the instigation of the Karakol district and city executive committee, the house was rented out to tenants by orders of the housing committee.
Now, the Neophyte Hotel is located here, which has occupied the premises since the early 90s of the last century. In front of the house, in the front garden between tall poplars on a low pedestal there was a bust of N.M. Przhevalsky. Apparently the photograph dates back to the 1950s.
Unfortunately, the dates of the photo and the author of the photograph are unknown. It is quite possible that this bust was eventually saved and reinstalled near the airport building. When and under what circumstances this transfer of the monument took place remains unknown.
