The Semyonov and Mushketov glaciers are located on the northern slope of the Sary-Djaz ridge, and the Northern Inylchek glacier at the bottom of the southern slope. In the ridge part there are small glaciers. The Tyz pass is used to drive flocks of sheep.
The total area of ​​glaciation is more than 525 square kilometers, over 300 glaciers, on the northern slope of the ridge are located - the Semyonov and Mushketov glaciers - the sources of the Sary-Djaz river. On the southern slopes there are over 20 short tributaries of the North Inulcjek glacier and about 20 independent glaciers.
