The wildlife sanctuary of Karkaraly National Park, in Tasbulak, is set on 80 hectares (198 acres). Here visitors will find deer, ponies, grunting-oxen, wild boars, spotted does, bison and other wild animals.
Many visitors from the closest resorts, come to the area just outside of the sanctuary to feed the animals, that will come fearlessly to the net which is the only barrier between them and the visitors.
In 140 kilometers to the south from Bayanaul there are rather high KarkaraIinsky Mountains (Karkaraly) which reaches the height of 1403 meters. Mountains are basically surrounded by semi-deserts, but there are slopes become overgrown with pine light-forest.
This region is characterized by fanciful rocks, lakes and small bogs - sazy where at the end of summer it is possible to see lenses of frozen soiI remained since winter in sazy deposits.
