Naryn Art Gallery is located at an altitude of 2052 meters above sea level, is located in the square of streets: Zhakypova, Taranchi Mambetalieva, Kyrgyzskaya and Lenin, on Lenin Street 43b, 50 meters to  east of monument to Anvarbek Chortekov, 83 meters to west of main city square, in central part of Naryn.
On June 23, 2001, for the tenth anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's Independence, an art gallery called "AS" was opened in Naryn. The project was initiated by the spouses Askar Salymbekov and Gulmira Mambetalieva, with the financial support of the Dordoi Association, which provided for the construction of the gallery building.
Over the years of its existence, exhibitions of local artists, as well as famous masters from the capital and foreign countries such as the USA, France and Great Britain, have been held here. The exhibitions present works by famous artists of the Kyrgyz Republic, including works by G. Aitiev, T. Herzen, S. Chokmorov, J. Kadyraliev and others. In the gallery, you can see the creations of honored cultural figures and laureates of the Toktogul State Prize, such as S. Azhiev, R. Bukharmetov and T. Usugaliev.
The works reflect the rich cultural heritage of Kyrgyz fine art, combining traditions with modern artistic approaches. Over the years of its existence, the AS Art Gallery in Naryn has established itself as an important cultural center of the region, attracting the attention of local and international audiences.
Its collection includes works by artists from Kyrgyzstan and a number of other countries, such as the United States, France and Great Britain, which emphasizes its international significance. The gallery presents works by famous cultural figures, including honored artists and laureates of the Toktogul State Prize. Among them are Sabyr Azhiev, David Flekman, Rashid Bukharmetov, Ermek Saliev, Dinara Adashkanova, Kasym Orozmatov and others.
The works of these authors reflect a variety of genres and styles, combining national traditions with personal views and modern trends.The gallery continues to serve as an inspiration for new generations of artists, providing a unique space to showcase art rich in cultural heritage and innovative approaches.
