Madrasah Matrasulbai Mirzaboshi (1905) is located opposite the western walls of the Shirghazi Khan Madrasa. It was built by Muhammad Rasoul Mirzaboshi, who was the son of the poet and composer Muhammad Niyaz Mirzaboshi (Kamil Khorezmi).
Muhammad Rasul Mirzaboshi was born in 1839, received his primary education from his father Camila Khorezmi, and later graduated from a madrasa and a Russian school. Kazi Abdullah taught him languages. He spoke excellent Persian and Arabic, was familiar with Oriental classical poetry.
In 1906, with the help of his father, he established a musical grammar for percussion instruments - for the first time in Central Asia.
