Necropolis of Meni-aulke.

Steppe tours in Kazakhstan.

“If I sigh, whose hand will help?
If I begin to endure, then death is near!
And I grieve and rejoice, only I remember you.
May this passion and longing pass the living"

Ilyas ibn Yusuf Nizami.

Aktobe guides.

The necropolis of Meni-aulke is located on the dominant Manaulie upland 211 meters above sea level: on the right (eastern) bank of the Irgiz River, 1.2 kilometers from the confluence of the Ashisay stream into the Irgiz River, 6.7 kilometers to the west from the Shenbertal village and in 19.4 kilometers north-west of the Shanys bi village in the Irgiz district of the Aktobe region.
Among the ancient cemeteries unexplored in this area, it is worth noting the Meni-aulke beyit, located on the mountain of the same name at the confluence of the Irgiz and Shet-Irgiz rivers.
It is represented by archaic limestone enclosures with simple composition kulpytases at the western walls, which are more interesting as historical and ethnographic monuments (epigraphy, tamgas) than monumental glyptics.
Geographic coordinates of the Meni-aulke necropolis: N48 ° 43'00.76 "E60 ° 11'51.26"
