Architectural sights of Saryagash region.

Orthodox, dilapidated church in honor of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos is located on the outskirts, in the northwestern part of the village of Derbisek, 17.6 kilometers northeast of the village of Saryagash, 87 kilometers southwest of the city of Shymkent in the Saryagash district of the Turkestan region.
The walls of the temple and the front facade in the upper part have been preserved, of which the main, dominant dome with a cross is installed. A little lower, on the right and left sides of the main dome, there are slightly smaller domes on the bases.
The top cross is preserved on the right dome, the cross is absent on the left dome. The main entrance to the temple is well preserved, above which rises a room (bell tower), where the bells were installed. On the north side, on the window openings, forged, openwork lattices have been preserved.
The Orthodox church was built by settlers from Russia in the late 19th - early 20th century. According to the surviving data, this temple was erected from 1890 to 1915. After the revolution of 1917, the temple was closed. In Soviet times, the church was empty, after the collapse of the USSR, the temple was also not used.
Among the local population, legends about the destruction of the temple using tractors have been preserved. The village of Derbisek was formed in 1993 by merging the villages: Kirovo, which previously bore the name Kaufmanskoye and Tobolino, the former name of Konstantinovka.
These settlements were founded at the end of the 19th century - Kaufmanskoe by Russians, and Konstantinovskoe by German settlers.
