Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya Glacier is a cirque glacier that begins with the peak of the same name. The area of the glacier is 4070 square kilometers, at an altitude of 3610 meters above sea level it merges with the Tuyuksu glacier. Its small cirque is a narrow basin, at the bottom of which snow accumulates from the northern and eastern slopes of the cirque.
The southern slope is bare. The rear wall of the cirque is high and steep. From its foot begins a fairly gentle field stretching 200 meters, ending in a steep tongue. Moraines on the glacier are poorly developed. The left lateral moraine reaches the Tuyuksu glacier, where it meets the frontal moraine of its glacier.
Together with it, it is carried away by the Tuyuksu glacier, on the surface of which it takes the form of separately scattered boulders, piles of rubble, etc. The glacier is named after Zoya Anatolyevna Kosmodemyanskaya, a Red Army soldier of the sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Western Front headquarters, abandoned in 1941 in the German rear.
