A trip to Saumalkol Lake.
Saumalkol (Kazakh. Saumalkul) is a closed, salt lake located in the Ayyrtau district in the North Kazakhstan region. The lake is located at an altitude of 277 meters above sea level in a lowland forest.
The area of the lake is 24.3 square kilometers, the length of the lake is 6.8 kilometers, the width in the central part is 4.2 kilometers.
The average depth of 4.1 meters. The coastline is 18 kilometers long. 4 small rivers flow into the lake.
On the north-western shore of the lake is the village of Saumalkol, on the eastern - the village of Krasnogorka.
