Ancient mausoleums of Ulytau.
Saukym mausoleum is located at an altitude of 490 meters above sea level, located in eastern part of ancient Erden necropolis, next to Erden mausoleum, 200 meters from right (southern) bank of drying bed of Karaganda River, 33 kilometers to east and slightly south of village of Ulytau, 20.3 kilometers northeast of village of Airtau, 3.1 kilometers north and slightly west of Mount Akshoky, 605 meters above sea level in Ulytau district of region of same name.
The dimensions of the Saukym mausoleum are 6.30 x 6.70 meters. Outside and from the inside it is lined with red brick, the middle is filled with raw bricks. The thickness of the walls: the portal - 1.25 meters, the rest - 80 cm.
The single-chamber portal-chamber structure at the time of restoration was in disrepair, a part and a side wall of the dome of the mausoleum 1.5 meters high on the inside were preserved. The preserved part of the dome had cracks in the corners on the inside. The outer facing masonry of two corners of the walls of the mausoleum collapsed.
