2. Lake of Soya.

Travel to Marguzor lakes.

«A lake is the landscape's most beautiful and expressive feature. It is earth's eye; looking into which the beholder measures the depth of his own nature»

Henry David Thoreau.

Rest on Marguzor lakes.

The flowing lake Soya (translated from Tajik - Shadow), located at an altitude of 1700 meters above sea level, is located north of the Gissar ridge and in the southern part of the Zeravshan ridge, between the Peshak mountains in the east and Daurich mountains in the west, in the Shing river valley, in 2 , 3 kilometers south of the village of Rashtan in the Penjikent district of the Sughd region.
The distance from Lake Gushor to Lake Soya is 1 kilometer of heavy mountain road. The length of Lake Soya is 569 meters, the greatest width in the northern part of the lake is 217 meters, the color of the water is greenish.
The small river Anangoran flows into the lake from the western side. The water of Soya Lake is amazingly beautiful. It shimmers with all imaginable shades of blue, sometimes turning into purple. At the bottom, through the water column, stones are visible, which change their color depending on the location of the sun in the sky.
The sun's rays never hit the surface of this lake.
