Exclusive tours Mangyshlak.
"Name Karatau refers to a fairly high mountain range stretching across Mangyshlak in the direction of W 20° N for a distance of more than eighty versts. In the west it begins with Mount Karatauchiv (about 600 feet) near the Tartaly wells, reaches a fair height with the peaks of Kara-choku (according to Ivanin, 2,450 feet of absolute height), Utman-tau and Mashshek, then drops sharply near the Kert wells. The Siir-su river flows through this low place, dividing the Karatau chain into two almost equal parts. The eastern half or distant Karatau again rises to a fair height with the peaks of Kyr-kereukty-choku and others and ends at the Tamdy wells about twenty versts south of the Kara-kichu Gulf."
