The Tien-Shan Climbing.

The mountain the Mokhnatay sopka is at the height of 2280 meters above sea level on a northern slope of Zailiysky Ala-Tau in the left western part of the Low-Almaty gorge. Average temperature in the neighborhood of the Mokhnatay sopka of July + 18 degrees, January 4,3 degrees.
At rise higher than 1400 meters above sea level falling of average annual air temperature makes about 0,66 degrees on each 100 meters of height. The period of negative temperature makes 5 - 7 months. Duration of the  period is 151 days, 1596 hours of sunshine.
Atmospheric pressure is 610 - 630 mm. Mountain and valley winds are observed. Average annual water temperature in the river Small Almaatinka 5,1 degrees.
