A trip from Atyrau to Almaty.
The monument of monumental art to the legendary hero of the Civil War, commander Mikhail Vasilyevich Frunze (1885 - 1925) was erected in Sosnovy Square on Kalinin Street (now Kabanbai Batyr) in 1967. Now it is located in the recreation park of Auezov district behind the Saryarka cinema.
Bronze bust, made according to the model of sculptor A.A. Isaev, mounted on a pedestal of gray granite (architector II Belotserkovsky) complex configuration. On the facade of the pedestal is the inscription: "M. V. Frunze." The total height of the monument is 4.5 meters.
Now in its place there is a monument to the Kyzylorda akyn and translator Turmagambet Iztleuov uly.
